GAINSCO is an automobile insurance company which has its headquarters in Dallas, Texas. GAINSCO was founded in 1978 by Joseph Macchia and markets its products through independent insurance agents. They offer nonstandard personal automobile insurance which are not generally insured by many of the standard companies. They write coverage in the minimum limits permitted by the states in which they operate.
